Thompson/Center Encore ProHunter 25 Creedmoor 26" Fluted Threaded Barrel

Thompson Center Encore ProHunter Barrel Features The Thompson Center Arms Encore ProHunter Barrel drops straight into a ProHunter Rifle frame with no gunsmithing required letting an owner add a 25 Creedmoor chambering to their existing setup in minutes. The spiral fluting cuts unnecessary weight from the barrel while leaving enough material for a rigid accuracy-focused profile and the 1:7.5 twist rate is matched to stabilize the bullet weights this cartridge runs. A blued finish gives the barrel a clean traditional look while standing up to field conditions and routine handling. The threaded 5/8x24 muzzle is ready for a brake comp or suppressor so hunters chasing reduced recoil or a quieter report have a mounting point built in from the factory. Thompson Center Arms test fires every ProHunter barrel at 100 yards before it leaves the factory so the accuracy a shooter expects is verified before the barrel ever reaches the rifle. This barrel is built specifically for Encore series rifles and will not fit Contender or G2 Contender frames so ProHunter owners can swap calibers on the same action they already own. Adding a 25 Creedmoor barrel to a ProHunter setup is a cost-effective way to try a flatter-shooting long-range capable cartridge without buying a second rifle. The Thompson Center Arms Encore ProHunter Barrel is a practical upgrade for hunters and shooters for sale at ARMSAGORA.
