Thompson Center Encore ProHunter 22-250 Rem 26" Stainless Fluted Threaded Barrel

Thompson Center Encore ProHunter Barrel Features The Thompson Center Encore ProHunter barrel is machined from stainless steel for excellent weather resistance then fluted along its length to shed weight while keeping the barrel rigid. Chambered in .22-250 Remington with a 1:12 twist rate it is well matched to lighter faster varmint bullets for accurate flat shooting performance. Every ProHunter barrel is factory test fired at 100 yards to verify accuracy before it ships giving owners confidence in its out of box performance. Threaded at 5/8x24 the barrel is ready to accept a muzzle brake or suppressor for reduced recoil or sound signature. Built specifically for Encore series rifles this barrel will not fit Contender or G2 Contender frames so Encore owners can be confident in proper fit without modification. No gunsmithing is required for installation letting owners swap barrels on their existing Encore frame in minutes. The stainless steel finish pairs durability with a traditional look that suits a dedicated varmint or predator hunting setup. Encore owners looking to add a flat shooting .22-250 option to their existing frame will find this ProHunter barrel a straightforward accurate choice.
