The 7-30 Waters cartridge is a necked-down .30-30 Win, designed to improve performance for all purposes. With velocities of around 2400 fps from a Thompson 14-inch barrel, they are suitable for all pistol sports from metallic silhouette to gig game hunting. This Thompson features the Waters chambering, nice walnut stocks, and clean metal. It has been used a bit and has some handling marks to show for it, but it hasn't been abused and it shows no rust. "Broken-in" is the operative word.
