A solid steel spring and buffer keepers are included with the Accu Wedge. Carbines equipped with a gas block or compensator need a heavier buffer and increased recoil force to adequately function. The Accu Wedge buffer has a two piece steel spring. Standard carbines do not have a crush washer so the spring and internal material must be installed by a seasoned gunsmith.
