The rifle features a high-quality 23-inch barrel designed to maximize the velocity and flat trajectory of the cartridge. It is housed in a handsome wood stock designed with a distinct raised comb to provide an optimal cheek weld when using a riflescope. For enhanced handling, the rifle is equipped with an oversized bolt knob that allows for fast, positive cycling and easy operation even while wearing gloves. Built during an era when Tikka was renowned for its hand-fitted components, the M55 action is celebrated by shooters and collectors alike for its exceptionally smooth bolt throw and crisp, factory target-quality trigger pull.
