Description
The Timney Impact 700 is a non-adjustable replacement trigger for the Remington 700 and its clones, designed for budget-conscious builds that still call for a crisp, clean break. It is a drop-in part for right-hand rifles and is intended for hunting, range, and general-purpose bolt-action use.
The trigger uses an aluminum alloy housing with all components captive inside. The hammer is wire-EDM machined from S7 tool steel for wear resistance and impact toughness, and the remaining components are EDM cut from A2 tool steel and heat treated to Rc 56-60. The pull weight is non-adjustable at 3 to 4 lb.
The housing is finished in black. The trigger fits Remington 700 and clone actions and is sold as a single trigger unit.
