Description
The Tipton Snap Caps are polymer dummy rounds made for dry fire training and practice with 22 LR rimfire rifles. Each cartridge is designed to let a shooter rehearse trigger pull technique without live ammunition.
Each round is red polymer and sized for the 22 LR chamber. Because the snap cap absorbs the firing pin strike, the spring is spared repeated impact and tension can be released from the hammer spring during storage. The rounds can also be used to check extractor and ejector function in short rifles and to test their feeding with magazines and clips.
