For ultimate safety, the Vortek is equipped with an automatic de-cocking mechanism - when the gun is opened, it is automatically de-cocked. The Accelerator Breech Plug allows access to the breech with just 3 full turns of the hand. The Quick-T ramrod handle provides comfort on the user's hand when loading, and a brass jag stored in the handle can screw into the rod tip, allowing the ramrod to function as a cleaning rod as well. Both the barrel and frame are coated in premium CeraKote finish. The synthetic stock and forend are impervious to extreme weather. The butt-stock also features a Stow-N-Go removable butt pad, allowing the butt pad to be removed with the press of a button for convenient storage inside the stock.
