The three dot sight allows the shooter to focus on the front sight quickly allowing for a quick and precise shot. Additionally the unique three dot design fills in much of the void in the vision of the shooter that might otherwise be present in the traditional rear sights of some guns. Because the shooter's eye is at approximately the same level as his or her front sight the shooter can easily adjust to the new front sight without removing his or her eye from the sight. The sights are designed with a taller rear sight that fits the parent model flush with the barrel and a shorter front sight that fits the Jericho model. The sights are three-dot and since they are a three-dot design using three tritium dots the shooter can use his or her eyes to focus on the front sight while still seeing the reticle easily. Additionally the rheostat-controlled rear sight lightens or darkens with no less than six hours of sunlight.
