The .125 tang width blade can be modified by a local gunsmith to.085 to fit a Springfield 1911 but other .45 brands don't fit these blades. The Gold Cup set is a complete new adjustable sight base assembly with sapphire dots. The Gold Cup set also fits the Python and other Colt revolvers with adjustable rear blades. Bars instead of dots can be used on the revolver adjustable blades. The posts are interchangeable between rifles. An A2 post will fit on an A1 rifle.
