Trijicon’s TA11MGO-M249 ACOG was designed for use on the M249 weapon system, but is highly compatible on modern sporting rifles equipped with picatinny rails. It’s reticle features an advanced Bullet Drop Compensator which increases hit probability on targets out to 1000 meters, and multi-coated lenses made from premium glass maximizes light transmission for enhanced target identification. The TA11MGO-M249 reticle utilizes dual illumination technology which is composed of fiber-optics and self-luminous tritium. The fiber-optics gathers daylight, and self-adjusts the reticle brightness in daylight based on ambient light conditions, and the tritium allows the optic to be used in total darkness. Because the TA11MGO-M249 fiber-optics and tritium, no batteries are needed and the optic is always ready for use. The TA11MGO-M249 also employs the Bindon Aiming Concept – a feature that allows the operator keep both eyes open when aiming for enhanced situational awareness. Other features of the TA11MGO-M249 include threaded bosses on the eyepiece housing to accommodate the installation of a Trijicon RMR micro red dot sight to better engage targets at close range. Like all of Trijicon’s premium optics, the TA11MGO-M249 features an extremely durable design, tested to withstand heavy recoil, shock, vibration, water immersion, and extreme temperatures.
