Description
The TriStar Matrix Inertia is a 12 gauge semi-automatic shotgun built around an inertia-driven action, the first inertia-operated design in the TriStar line. It is intended for shooters who want a reliable semi-auto for general shotgun use.
This model has a 28-inch blued barrel with a fiber optic front sight, a 5-round capacity, and a walnut stock. It is chambered for 12 gauge 3-inch shells, measures 49 inches overall, and weighs 7.1 pounds. The right-handed configuration includes an oversized operating handle and a slam-fire bolt release.
According to the retailer, the inertia system accepts a slightly wider range of ammunition and requires less cleaning and lubrication than gas-operated designs.
