The TriStar Cobra III Marine is a 12 gauge pump action shotgun built on the Remington 870 platform, sized for marine and general-purpose use. It accepts loads ranging from light target shells to heavy buckshot, with a 3-inch chamber and a 5+1 capacity.
The 18.5-inch chrome-lined barrel has a silver Marinecote finish and a blade front sight. The steel receiver is silver, the synthetic black stock is right-handed, and the gun weighs 6.2 pounds. A manual safety is fitted.
A return spring in the forearm pushes the forearm forward to close the action after each pull, speeding up follow-up shots. The spring can be removed for traditional pump operation.
