The progressively less-shallower cutting angle gives the added pattern density needed to make the shot pattern more "slug-like" and the resulting holes more precise and accurate. The extension is constructed of high strength 17-4 stainless steel. Stainless steel locking rings ensure the choke tube can be used for life and all chokes lock securely upon installation. Precision Hunter chokes are corrosion resistant and will not lock slick. They will however mark the shot holes as they are fired so that they can be located easily even in low light conditions.
