Underwood Ammo Handgun Ammunition .45 Colt 255 Grain 20-Rounds LSWCGC

Underwood Ammo Handgun Ammunition Features The Underwood Ammo Handgun Ammunition loaded in .45 Colt drives a 255 grain lead Keith type semi wadcutter bullet with a gas check a profile long favored by revolver shooters for its sharp shoulder and reliable expansion characteristics. The gas check protects the base of the bullet from hot propellant gases helping maintain accuracy and reduce leading at the base of the round. Underwood s proprietary coating gives the bullet strong mechanical and tensile strength so it holds together under pressure without fragmenting prematurely. That coating also provides a high degree of wear and abrasion resistance letting the round perform consistently across a range of conditions. Because the coating prevents direct lead to bore contact shooters can run this load at higher velocities without the fouling that typically accompanies plain lead bullets. The coating is thermally stable and resists weathering and chemical degradation so ammunition stored for extended periods retains its performance characteristics. Reduced friction resistance and self-lubricating properties mean less buildup in the barrel over a long shooting session translating into easier cleanup afterward. Packed 20 rounds per box this .45 Colt load is built for revolver shooters and hunters who want dependable lead bullet performance without the fouling headaches.
