Underwood Platinum Xtreme Defense 9mm +P 90gr Solid Monolithic 20 Rounds

Underwood Ammo Platinum Xtreme Defense Features The Underwood Ammo Platinum Xtreme Defense load is built on the Xtreme Penetrator platform using an optimized nose flute bullet weight and velocity to achieve penetration up to 18 inches. That combination produces a permanent wound cavity over 100 percent larger in diameter and volume than typical expanding hollow points giving this round outsized terminal performance for its 90 grain weight. The solid copper monolithic body holds together through barriers such as wallboard sheet metal and automotive glass meaning the round performs as designed even when a threat is not standing in the open. Because the bullet contains no lead this load is also safe to run through a suppressor without concern for lead fouling. Cases are nickel-plated brass a finish that improves feeding across a range of pistol actions while resisting corrosion and tarnish far better than bare brass during storage. At 1475 fps this +P loading generates 435 ft lbs of muzzle energy supersonic performance that keeps the round stable and predictable in flight. Twenty rounds ship per box giving defensive shooters a full magazine s worth of ammunition plus reloads for practice and carry rotation. For shooters who want a proven barrier-blind defensive round the Underwood Ammo Platinum Xtreme Defense 9mm +P is available for sale at ARMSAGORA.
