Rarer US Army Union Switch and Signal Co. M1911A1 semiautomatic pistol chambered in .45 Automatic. One of approximately 55,000 total pistols produced my US&S for the US government, all of which were produced in 1943. The included Gahimer letter confirms that all parts are correct with the exception of the thumb safety and mainspring housing. Comes with a single period correct magazine with "L" manufacturer stamp along with a Gahimer inspection letter.
