Built to order in Peoria, Arizona, the Alpha combines precision machining, hand fitting and function testing into a performance-focused full-size platform. The UG-1 Alpha is manufactured from start to finish at United Gunworks' 60,000-square-foot facility in Peoria, Arizona. Frames, slides and operational components are machined, hand-fit, finished and function-checked under one roof. Each Alpha is cut and fitted to order, with a current lead time of 3-5 weeks. The 4.5-inch match-grade ported island barrel is designed to help pull the muzzle down instead of allowing it to climb, while the ultra-low-mass slide is lightened to reduce reciprocating mass and shorten the return to zero. The combination creates the foundation for the Alpha's performance-oriented design.A flat-face trigger provides a crisp 2-3 lb. break with a clean, repeatable reset. The full-size steel frame features an accessory rail machined into the dust cover for a weapon light, while the checkered grip provides a positive indexing surface. A flared magwell helps funnel the magazine during reloads. The Alpha features a modular optic plate system with the slide cut for multiple optic footprints. The system incorporates an integrated co-witness rear sight. This configuration features a Black PVD finish with Silver Accents, giving the UG-1 Alpha a distinctive two-tone appearance while retaining the same full-size performance platform.Specifications- Model: UG-1 Alpha- Platform: Full-size double stack- Caliber: 9mm- Barrel: 4.5" match-grade ported island barrel- Slide: Ultra-low-mass- Frame: Full-size steel- Trigger: Flat face, 2-3 lb. break- Grip: Checkered- Magwell: Flared- Rail: Light-ready accessory rail machined into the dust cover- Optic: Modular optic plate system with integrated co-witness rear sight- Finish: Black PVD with Silver Accents- Manufacture: Machined, assembled and inspected in Peoria, Arizona- Lead Time: 3-5 weeksPorted Island BarrelThe UG-1 Alpha uses a 4.5-inch match-grade ported island barrel designed to help control muzzle movement.
