United Shield Standard Shield Level IIIA w/ Viewport 24in x 36in 24X36-IIIA. This Shield by United Shield is the product we most commonly see at competitions. We see it time and time again with great success at all the competitions I've worked at. I know a number of shooters personally that get a lot of abuse and want to protect their families so I decided to build a shield that would be reasonably inexpensive to build but robust enough to give the shooter the protection they need. That's why I decided to build a shield for myself. I know the first rule of shooting is "less is more". While it is true that safety is our number one priority we know that a great shield is not only about looking good but also about giving the shooter full protection so they can focus on the shot.
