These were manufactured for the war effort by Quality Hardware and Machine Company most commonly referred to as simply Quality Hardware. Quality Hardware marked rifles are considered more collectible than some others because all Quality Hardware manufactured receivers used the detachable recoil spring tube. In addition to that, they only produced around 356,000 rifles over a 15-month span. C & R Eligible - NRA Surplus Good Condition. These were original WWII Era M1 Carbine rifles that were stored overseas for years before recently being re-imported back into the United States. Rifles have and are being sold under their original serial numbers and have not been importer re-marked. Overall condition is a solid NRA Good Surplus condition with some at the top end approaching Very Good.
