This method of priming an air rifle provides substantial advantages over the traditional break action design. The underlever design allows the barrel to be directly attached to the stock and receiver, allowing for better and consistent accuracy as the barrel doesn’t move. Another advantage this system provides is reducing the wear on the hinge-pin, arguably the most important part of the rifle. Since the barrel does not move, this underlever design utilizes a single shot flip up magazine which is fast and easy to load.
