Swarovski Optik’s dS 5-25x52 P Gen II represents a major advancement in riflescope technology. In terms of performance, this precision optical instrument is far more than just a standard riflescope. To ensure the most accurate possible shot, the dS 5-25x52 comes equipped with a series of integrated technologies including an onboard laser rangefinder, an illuminated holdover reticle display, a cant indicator, and sensors to measure air pressure, temperature, and bullet flight time. In addition, the dS Configurator app allows the user to create a custom ballistics profile based on their specific firearm and ammunition preference, then connects to the dS 5-25x52 riflescope via Bluetooth connection. The app and riflescope take into account the set magnification, air pressure, temperature, angle and your own ballistics profile to calculate the exact aiming point. This aiming point is then displayed as an illuminated reticle holdover point with six reticles to choose from. This function can also display the maximum range at the highest magnification based on the currently selected ammunition type.
