PLEASE NOTE - This Valmet 412 includes what you see in the accompanying photographs. While the 412 is able to accommodate other barrels and combinations, this item only has the Over/Under one set. The Valmet 412 is a highly versatile, modular break-action over-and-under firearm manufactured in Finland. Famous for its "shooting system" designdrawing heritage from the Remington Model 32it features interchangeable barrels that allow a single steel receiver to be configured as a shotgun, a rifle/shotgun combo, or a double rifle. Key Characteristics Modularity: Shooters can swap between barrel sets without requiring hard fitting to the receiver. Design: Utilizes a rugged monobloc steel action and an underbolt/crossbolt locking system, making it incredibly durable and "built like a tank". Barrels: The lower barrel is suspended with rings, allowing it to expand independently of the top barrel when heated. Triggers: Typically equipped with a highly reliable mechanical single trigger with a barrel selector switch. Legacy: The platform was later produced as the Tikka 412 and the Finnclassic 512. Configurations Shotgun: Available mostly in 12 gauge, with various choke configurations and barrel lengths for upland game, waterfowl, or trap shooting.
