Description
The Viridian E-Series Essential is a green laser sight designed to mount to the trigger guard of a Ruger Security 9 pistol, giving the shooter a visible aiming point for close-range handgun use. It is intended for users who want a simple, lightweight laser add-on for home defense or range work.
The unit is made from polymer and finished in black. It is ambidextrous, so it can be used by right- or left-handed shooters, and weighs 0.78 ounces. The green laser projects a bright point that is generally easier for the eye to pick up than red at the same power level.
The sight is listed as fitting the Ruger Security 9 and the Ruger Security 380 in both full-size and compact configurations. Confirm fitment against your specific model before purchase, as trigger guard dimensions vary between frame sizes.
