Vortex Optics Cantilever Picatinny 30mm Red Dot Mount Matte Black High

The Vortex Cantilever Ring Mount is designed to mount red dots with a 30mm tube on AR-15 flattop receivers. Available in two height options, these mounts provide shooters the option of having the red dot sight in absolute co-witness with iron sights or lower 1/3 co-witness. The cantilever style mount position the optic forward approximatley one inch for the ideal eye relief and head position on AR-15 style rifles. The forward position leaves aditional space to the rear of the red dot for use with magnifiers or Back-up iron sights. The Mount is CNC machined from solid 6061-T6 aluminum and features a hard coat Type 3 Mil-spec anodizing for a lifelong lasting finish. Note: Absolute co-witness denotes when the dot of the red dot sight and the iron sights are in alignment with each other.
