The Walther CCP M2+ Semi-Auto Pistol features a new precision machined slide to improve accuracy and it now accepts any Glock 19/17 series sights. The Walther offers a great balance of ergonomics, size, shape, and reliability. The CCP (Concealed Carry Pistol) utilizes Walther's SOFTCOIL gas-delayed blowback system to cycle the action. The slide has a pivoting piston pinned to it, and the barrel is fixed to the frame. The system is ultra reliable, and has the advantage of eliminating the vertical space needed for the tipping barrel of the blowback system, and it uses a lighter recoil spring, which makes racking the slide much easier. The CCP is a striker-fired pistol with a short smooth trigger pull and quick reset. A manual safety is easily and instinctively reached with the shooter's thumb. The steel slide has front and rear cocking serrations to facilitate racking the slide. The frame is constructed of tough polymer with a non-slip textured grip surface. An integral Picatinny rail provides for attaching aftermarket sights and lights. The magazine release is easily reached with the shooter's thumb. The 3-dot, low-profile sights are quick to acquire, while interfering minimally when drawing the pistol from a holster or bag. The rear sight is screw adjustable for windage.
