For your consideration, the Walther PP Super semi-auto pistol chambered in 9x18mm. The PP Super was developed in the early 1970s to be sold as a police pistol in West Germany. It used 9x18mm Ultra ammunition which was designed during World War II for the German Air Force. The ammunition allowed for the gun to function as a straight blowback instead of a locked breach like the 9mm Luger, thus making it less expensive to manufacture.
