The Warne Maxima 2-Piece Steel Weaver Scope Base is a matte black steel mount for attaching a scope to a rifle with a Weaver-style rail. Its low profile lets the shooter use iron sights over the top of the bases when optics are removed, and pairs with Warne Maxima QD rings for quick detachment.
The bases are made of steel with a matte black finish and have full-width, full-depth recoil slots that give maximum bearing surface for recoil key engagement. They secure to the receiver with Torx-style T-15 socket cap screws, and 25 in/lb of torque is recommended.
