Description
The Warne X-SKEL Gen 2 is a one-piece cantilever scope mount for AR-15 and other AR-style MSR rifles that run a Picatinny rail. It is built from CNC-machined 6061 aluminum in a black finish, and it uses a skeletonized body and ring caps to reduce weight compared with Warne's earlier R.A.M.P. Mount.
The mount's one-piece side clamp design is intended for strength, and its forward cantilever extends about one inch beyond the original SKEL Mount. That extra reach can provide proper eye relief with scopes that have large eye boxes and leaves room behind the mount for accessories such as the Warne A645 45-degree side mount adaptor. The overall length is 5 inches, with 3.050 inches between the rings.
