Description
The Warne X-SKEL Gen 2 is a one-piece cantilever scope mount for AR-15 and other MSR-style rifles with a Picatinny rail. It is designed to hold a riflescope on the rifle's top rail while offering a lightweight alternative to earlier Warne mounts.
The mount is CNC machined from 6061 aluminum in a matte black finish and has a skeletonized body and ring caps. Its overall length is 5 inches, with 3.050 inches between the rings. The forward cantilever is one inch longer than the original SKEL Mount, and the one-piece side clamp design is intended to add strength.
The extra cantilever gives proper eye relief with scopes that have large eye boxes and leaves space behind the mount for accessories such as the Warne A645 45-degree side mount adaptor.
