Description
The Weatherby 307 Alpine MDT is a bolt action rifle built on Weatherby's Model 307 action, a two-lug, fully cylindrical design. It is fitted to an MDT carbon fiber chassis and chambered in 300 Weatherby Magnum for long-range and field use.
The rifle has a 26-inch fluted sporter-profile barrel with a threaded muzzle and weighs 6.9 pounds. The chassis includes a foldable buttstock that reduces overall length by more than 9 inches when collapsed. The finish is Cerakote graphite black, and the rifle ships without sights, with a 3-round capacity.
The Model 307 action is designed to accept many aftermarket stocks, triggers, rails, mounts, and magazines. The rifle is configured for a right-handed shooter.
