Weatherby 307 Alpine MDT Carbon 6.5 WBY RPM 22" Threaded Bolt Action Rifle

Weatherby 307 Alpine MDT Carbon Features The Weatherby 307 Alpine MDT Carbon pairs a bolt action receiver with an MDT HNT26 chassis system built from carbon fiber giving hunters a lightweight stock that still provides the rigidity needed for consistent accuracy. Chambered in 6.5 WBY RPM the rifle is built around a cartridge designed to deliver flat trajectories and strong downrange energy for big game hunting at extended distances. The 22 inch barrel carries a 1 in 8 inch twist rate suited to stabilizing the heavier bullet weights available in this chambering while a 5/8x24 threaded muzzle lets hunters add a brake or suppressor as needed. A 3 plus 1 capacity keeps the rifle light while giving hunters enough rounds on hand for a quick followup shot in the field. The carbon gray Cerakote applied finish provides a durable corrosion resistant coating across the metal components standing up to the weather exposure that comes with backcountry hunting. A 2 position thumb safety gives the shooter quick intuitive control over the rifle s readiness without fumbling in a tense moment. At just 6.6 pounds and an overall length of 44.25 inches the rifle is light enough to carry comfortably over long distances on foot a key consideration for alpine and mountain hunting. The MDT chassis also allows for future customization letting hunters adjust the rifle s fit and add accessories as their needs evolve making the 307 Alpine MDT Carbon a long term investment in a serious hunting rifle.
