Weatherby Mark V Backcountry 2.0 22 Creedmoor 22" Bolt Action Rifle

Weatherby Mark V Backcountry 2.0 Features The Weatherby Mark V Backcountry 2.0 is built on the proven steel Mark V action now paired with a 22 fluted threaded barrel chambered in .22 Creedmoor and fitted with Weatherby s Accubrake ST to tame recoil without adding significant length. Pronounced spiral fluting along the bolt body trims weight and reduces bearing surface within the action resulting in smoother cycling between shots. The bolt handle features a lightweight aluminum extended and skeletonized knob for faster more confident manipulation under field conditions. A TriggerTech Field trigger rounds out the action giving shooters a clean consistent break that supports precise long range shot placement. The carbon fiber stock is finished in Patriot Brown with brown and dark green sponge accents giving the rifle a rugged backcountry appearance while keeping overall weight down to just 5.3 lbs. Hidden inside the 3D HEX recoil pad is a series of interlocking voids that progressively collapse during recoil expanding the time component of the recoil impulse and deadening the sharp kick associated with magnum length cartridges. The receiver is drilled and tapped for scope mounting and a two position safety provides simple reliable operation in the field. Built for right handed shooters at a 13.5 length of pull this Weatherby Mark V Backcountry 2.0 is available for sale at ARMSAGORA for hunters chasing distant game in demanding terrain.
