Description
The Weatherby Vanguard Badlands is a bolt-action hunting rifle chambered in 257 Weatherby Magnum, built on the Vanguard action and offered in the Badlands Approach camouflage pattern. It is intended for big game hunting at mountain and long-range distances where a flat trajectory is useful.
The rifle has a 24-inch threaded barrel finished in Burnt Bronze Cerakote, with a 1:10 twist rate and cold hammer-forged construction. It carries a three-round capacity, an adjustable two-stage trigger, a three-position safety, and a hinged floorplate. The rifle weighs 7.5 pounds, measures 42.5 inches overall, and is supplied without sights.
The Monte Carlo synthetic stock has a raised comb for consistent cheekweld behind a riflescope and is weather-resistant. The receiver is drilled and tapped for scope mounts. The rifle is right-handed.
