Weighing only 5.6 lbs., the Mark V Backcountry 2.0 Ti Carbon is bedded on a Peak 44 Blacktooth aerospace-grade exposed carbon fiber stock with a 3DHEX recoil pad. For hunters that weigh every ounce the Backcountry 2.0 Ti Carbon cuts the weight without cutting performance. The 3DHEX is a 3D printed recoil pad that has an internal, high strength, energy diffusing lattice structure to spread out directional forces to reduce muzzle lift during recoil. The Mark V Backcountry 2.0 Ti Carbon action has been left as raw titanium to show off the precise machining.
