Description
The Weatherby Model 307 CT Bolt-Action Rifle combines Weatherby's 307 action with carbon fiber components to create an ultralight rifle that can own the range and dominate on the hunt. It all starts with the 307 action, a 2-lug, fully cylindrical action that's compatible with a wide range of 700-style aftermarket accessories and features simple tool-free disassembly for easy field maintenance. The action comes outfitted with a TriggerTech Field trigger that delivers a true zero-creep break and can be adjusted down to 2.5 lbs. The action comes bedded within a Peak 44 carbon fiber stock that weighs just 24 ounces and uses a proprietary 3D-Hex recoil pad to reduce recoil. The Peak 44 Bastion stock is the lightest production stock on the market, and features an ambidextrous palm swell and thumb groove to promote proper form. Moving on, the 307 Alpine comes equipped with a BSF carbon fiber-wrapped barrel, among the finest available today. BSF starts with a precision-turned 416R stainless match barrel and encases it within a roll-wrapped carbon fiber sleeve that's loaded under tension. This design creates a 95% air gap that promotes faster cooling. It all adds up to a lightweight rifle that's guaranteed to produce sub-MOA accuracy at 100 yards from a cold barrel when used with Weatherby factory or premium ammo within 2 years of purchase.
