Description
The Weatherby Orion SxS is a side-by-side break-action 12 gauge shotgun built for upland bird hunting and clay target shooting. It uses a classical design with a straight English stock, splinter forend, and double triggers housed in a long tang trigger guard.
The 28-inch barrels feature a swamp rib and a brass bead front sight, with a matte blued finish on the metal and an oil finish on the walnut stock and forend. The shotgun weighs 6.4 pounds, has an overall length of 46 inches, and holds 2 rounds of 12 gauge 3-inch shells. The included features are double triggers, an ambidextrous safety, and extended choke tubes.
The 28-inch barrel length is a middle ground between bird hunting and clay shooting, offering a balanced swing for both. The stock is configured for right-handed shooters.
