Description
The Weatherby Vanguard Spike Camp is a bolt-action rifle chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor, built on the Remington 700 platform and intended for hunting and target shooting. Its 20-inch barrel has a 5/8x24 threaded muzzle for attaching a suppressor or other muzzle device, and the 1-in-8 rate of twist is suited to stabilizing heavier bullets for longer-range work.
The rifle weighs 7.5 pounds and measures 40 inches overall. It has a Tungsten Cerakote finish and a Boyds Spike Camp laminate stock, which the retailer describes as providing a non-slip grip in wet conditions. Capacity is listed as 4 rounds plus one in the chamber.
