Weatherby Vanguard Weatherguard 270 Win 24" Threaded Bolt Action Rifle

Weatherby Vanguard Weatherguard Features The Weatherby Vanguard Weatherguard pairs a hammer forged .270 Winchester barrel with a satin stainless finish that resists corrosion in wet harsh hunting environments. Its 1 in 10 inch twist rate stabilizes a wide range of .270 bullet weights giving hunters flexibility in ammunition selection. The two-stage adjustable trigger breaks cleanly and predictably helping shooters place precise shots on game at extended ranges. An M-16 style extractor adds reliability to the extraction and ejection cycle keeping the action running smoothly shot after shot. The Monte Carlo synthetic stock in Black and Gray is built to survive rough handling in the field without the maintenance demands of a wood stock. A one-piece forged and machined receiver includes an integral recoil lug for maximum strength and structural integrity under recoil. The 24 inch threaded barrel accepts a suppressor or muzzle device via its 1/2x28 thread pattern and the drilled and tapped receiver is ready for optics straight from the factory. At 7.5 pounds with a low density recoil pad this Vanguard Weatherguard balances portability and comfort for hunters covering long distances afield.
