Description
These Weaver top mount extension scope rings hold a 1 inch diameter scope tube on a Weaver-style base. The extra high profile gives clearance for taller optics or for a shooter who wants more eye relief-related height above the receiver. The rings are machined from aluminum with a matte black finish.
The rings use wide top steel caps and thumb nuts for the clamping action. Loosening the thumb nuts allows the scope to be removed quickly so the shooter can return to iron sights. When the rings are reinstalled on the base and the thumb nuts are tightened, the scope is intended to return close to its original zero, though some re-zeroing may still be needed.
Mounting hardware is included with the rings.
