Wheeler Delta Series AR-15 Upper Receiver Lapping Tool

The Wheeler Delta Series AR-15 Receiver Lapping Tool is a gunsmith tool for truing the barrel-nut seating face of an AR-15 upper receiver. A square, flat face lets the barrel nut torque down evenly against the receiver, which supports consistent barrel alignment and accuracy.

The tool is made of steel with a black oxide finish and is designed to be driven by a battery-powered or electric drill, which is sold separately. It includes a flex driver shaft and is used with 220 grit lapping compound. Its intended use is to square the receiver face so the barrel nut can be positioned to align the gas tube.
