Whitecap Mooring Bit - 316 Stainless Steel - 3". This GPS accessory by Whitecap is used to anchor small craft by bringing the mooring line tight to the mooring buoy. The Whitecap Anti-Rattle Mooring Bit features a double prong clevis pin for increased holding power. Also the clevis pin features an indentation on the pin that accommodates the clevis pinscrew. To use this clevis pin the boat float must have a rounded head. If you want to increase the holding power of your mooring by bringing the clevis pin closer to the clevis pin the clevis must be removed. If the clevis pin is removed the clevis pin must be re-seated. When the clevis pin is removed the clevis pin must be re-seated. To make the clevis pin fit the clevis pin back in place. If not the clevis pin must be replaced.
