This safety produces better control of your handgun while eliminating the discomfort and hammer bite that are possible with stock grip safeties. Works with either a commander style hammer or a bobbed spur hammer. Slight modifications to the beavertail trigger engagement area may be required for proper installation. Notes: For use with Commander-style hammers or bobbed spur hammers. Most of the enhanced pistols already have this type hammer. If you have a wide, flat hammer with no horizontal opening in it, then you will need to change your hammer.Do not modify aluminum frames.
