Description
This right-hand magazine extension tube is designed for the Remington 870 pump-action shotgun and adds one round of capacity while providing a side sling mount. It is intended for users who want a tactical configuration of the 870 platform.
The extension is made of steel with a black Parkerized finish and is listed for 12 gauge. It fits the Remington 870, 1100 and 11-87 shotguns. Later-model guns use plastic follower spring retainer and magazine cap retainer tabs or indents in the magazine tube, which must be removed before the extension will accept cartridges. This is commonly done with a drill.
