Wilson Combat Shok-Buff 1911 Government 45 ACP Recoil System

The Wilson Combat Shok-Buff Recoil System is a recoil and guide rod assembly for the 1911 Government pistol chambered in 45 ACP. It is designed to tune the pistol's recoil behavior and can be used on 1911 Government and Gold Cup frames.

The kit is built around a stainless steel One-Piece Guide Rod and Plug. It includes six Shok-Buffs, which are the elastomer components that absorb recoil energy. For tuning, it provides a 10 lb reduced power recoil spring and an 18 lb extra power recoil spring, along with an extra power firing pin spring.

The system is sold as a bundle containing all of these components, so the recoil spring weight can be matched to the load and the shooter's preference without purchasing parts separately.
