WINCHESTER ~ 43 ~ .218 BEE

The Model 43 is a "push feed" bolt action was manufactured in 1952, near the end of the Model 43 run. This is supported by the bent bolt handle, and scope mounting holes, that were incorporated mid-way through the production run. The rifles are a sporter weight "light rifle" for use as a varmint gun, and they were chambered in both .218 Bee, .22 Hornet, .25-20, and .32-20. This one is .218 Bee and is intended for small game hunting and pest control out 150 yards or so. The wood and metal are in good shape, as is the bore. Nice little gun.
