Winchester XPR Extreme SR 300 Win Mag 20" Threaded Bolt Action Rifle

Winchester XPR Extreme SR Features The Winchester XPR Extreme SR begins with a solid chromoly steel barrel that is carefully drilled and precisely button-rifled a process that burnishes the interior surface for a smoother finish that increases velocity while reducing bullet jacket fouling. Chambered in .300 Win Mag the 20 inch spiral fluted barrel removes excess metal to keep the rifle lighter without sacrificing rigidity and the threaded 5/8x24 muzzle makes it suppressor ready for hunters who want reduced recoil and sound. Every XPR barrel is thermally stress-relieved to ensure straight true accuracy and the fully free-floating design eliminates pressure points that could otherwise rob precision. The M.O.A. Trigger System borrowed from Winchester s flagship Model 70 delivers adjustable pull weight with zero tack-up creep or overtravel. The advanced polymer stock finished in Mossy Oak Bottomland camo provides a superior grip in variable field conditions while standing up to the scratches and bumps of a hard hunt. A detachable box magazine a feature typically reserved for expensive aftermarket upgrades comes standard for easy reloading in the field. The Inflex Technology recoil pad reduces felt recoil from the magnum cartridge keeping the rifle comfortable to shoot across a range session. A two-position thumb safety and drilled and tapped receiver round out a rifle built for hunters who want proven long-range performance in a camouflaged magnum-caliber package.
