Winchester Model 70 Featherweight 308 Winchester 22" Bolt Action Rifle

The Winchester Model 70 Featherweight is a bolt-action centerfire rifle built on the Model 70 action, offered here in .308 Winchester. It is intended for hunting and general shooting, with a light, quick-handling profile.

The rifle has a 22-inch barrel and an overall length of 42.25 inches, and weighs 6.13 pounds. It is fitted with a steel receiver and polished blued metal finish, a 5-round capacity, and a right-hand bolt action. The rifle has no sights from the factory, so an optic or iron sights must be added separately. The raw description also references a Pre-'64 style controlled round feeding action, a three-position safety, and an M.O.A. trigger system.

The rifle is chambered for .308 Winchester, which is also compatible with 7.62x51mm NATO ammunition, and is built on a Remington 700 platform.
