Winchester Model 70 Featherweight 300 Win Mag 24" Bolt Action Rifle

Winchester Model 70 Featherweight Features The Winchester Model 70 Featherweight carries forward the controlled round feed action with claw extractor and controlled ejection that made the original Model 70 famous among hunters chasing dangerous and big game alike. The free-floating Featherweight profile barrel keeps the rifle light in the hand without sacrificing the accuracy a 24 inch target crown gloss blued barrel delivers. A 1 in 10 inch twist rate stabilizes heavier .300 Win Mag bullets for flatter more consistent long-range trajectories. The receiver is drilled and tapped so hunters can mount a scope of their choosing without additional gunsmithing. The satin finish AA French Maple stock brings classic Featherweight cut checkering and a Schnabel fore-end that recalls the rifle s storied lineage while remaining genuinely functional in the field. The M.O.A. Trigger System breaks crisply and consistently letting hunters place shots precisely on game at extended ranges. A Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad tames the recoil of the .300 Win Mag cartridge keeping repeated practice sessions comfortable. Hunters who want a 3 round capacity bolt gun with the fit finish and feel of a traditional Winchester will find the Model 70 Featherweight built to that standard.
