Winchester Model 70 Featherweight 308 Win 22" 5-Round Bolt Action Rifle

Winchester Model 70 Featherweight Features The Winchester Model 70 Featherweight uses the proven pre-64 style controlled round feed bolt with a claw extractor giving reliable feeding and extraction across a range of hunting conditions. A jeweled bolt body with a knurled bolt handle adds a touch of craftsmanship while making the action smooth to cycle in the field. The adjustable M.O.A. Trigger System delivers zero take up zero creep and zero overtravel for a light clean break that helps put shots exactly where they are aimed. A three-position safety gives the hunter precise control over the rifle s readiness whether easing through brush or settling in for a shot. A 22 inch gloss blued barrel with a target crown and a 1:12 twist rate is free floating for consistent accuracy and the drilled and tapped receiver accepts scope bases without gunsmithing. The satin AA French Maple stock is light in color with dark contrasting grain and is shaped with a Schnabel forearm and classic Featherweight checkering for secure handling. A Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad absorbs felt recoil from repeated shots keeping the rifle comfortable on the range and in the field.
